Let’s Talk Politics

 White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs was interrupted three times today by ringing cell phones.  The first two came from John Gizzi of Human Events.  After some chuckles and a request from Gibbs to “put it on vibrate,”the phone rang again, at which point Gibbs stepped away from the podium and demanded the phone.  Amidst roars of laughter, Gibbs is seen taking the phone and exiting the briefing room momentarily to give it to an aide.  Once everyone was situated again and the briefing was set to continue, CBS’ Bill Plante’s phone began to ring.  But Plante was reluctant to give Gibbs his phone and left the room to take the call instead.  The amusing fiasco was captured by many of the major networks.
